Explorer ScoutsWelcome to 1st Lickey Scout Troop
1st Lickey scout Troop currently around 15 young people aged
between 10½ and 14. The majority of our new members come from 1st
Lickey Cub Scout Pack at the age of 10½. However some also join directly
into the troop. The troop consists of 3 patrols,
Kestrel, Merlin and Cobra and enjoys a varied programme of
activities such as pioneering, cooking, hiking, camping, knotting, orienteering and survival skills. Recent
activity badges have included: DIY, Information Technology, mechanics, elementary canoeist, elementary
sailing, camper, cyclist and electronics. During 2007 we will be attending the
District Centenary Camp and several other centenary events. At the age of 14, Scouts transfer to
Explorer Scouts
